Hello all, here are some pics from our February 2006 trip to Bali. The one with all the people is of a local Kecak (Fire) Dance, which Katty and I really enjoyed. I have a couple more pics in my English 1 and IES-B blogs.

Festival Pictures

Here are some pictures from the Kansai Gaidai University Festival from earlier this month. First you have my English 1 student Maiko and yours truly, then you have students and ex-students in the street dance competition: Ai, Chika, and Mariko. Then you have my JCE student Michiko rocking with her band The Distillers in the Folk Club room. I wish I could have seen more of my students' performances, but I saw what I could!
